How Able Clinic Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal and health data.
What we collect
Identity and contact details. Health information you give in the health check and check-ins. Weight verification photos. Order and payment records. And technical data such as device and usage logs. Health data is special-category data under UK GDPR and is handled accordingly.
How we use it
To assess eligibility, prescribe safely, dispense and deliver your medicine, run check-ins, and meet our legal duties as a healthcare provider. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use health information for marketing.
Who sees it
The clinical team and dispensing pharmacy. Payment processors (payment details only). Couriers (delivery details only). And regulators where the law requires. Verification photos are seen only by the clinical team and are never used for marketing.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction, deletion (subject to medical record retention rules), or restriction of processing. Write to privacy@ableclinic.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we respond.
Retention
Clinical records are kept for the periods required of UK healthcare providers. Account data while your account is active. Marketing preferences are honoured immediately.
