Budgeting for the full journey
Most people titrate up over 5 to 6 months and spend somewhere between the starter and mid-range doses for the bulk of treatment. A realistic 12-month budget for a typical path, reaching 10 mg and settling, sits around £2,000 to £2,300. People who stay on 5 mg long-term spend considerably less.

How it compares
Wegovy starts lower (£69 a month) because its starter doses cost less to supply. At maintenance doses the two converge. Daily tablets start at £79.
